Queen of the Jungle

Sometimes, I'll grab something unpainted off the shelf and go to work. I found this Barbarian Queen figure from Copplestone Castings, and painted her up as Sheena, Queen of the Jungle. The witchdoctor is a Copplestone scutlp from Foundry's Darkest Africa range. I believe the panther is Ral Partha.

  1. How tall would the queen image be? My wife has a 7' Goliath Warden and I've been looking for a miniature for her and can't locate one that has the correct proportions, armor, weapons, etc... My question really is, is the queen at 30mm tall enough to fit the 7' Height requirement?

  2. I would say no- but it really depends on your own personal tastes; also, how tall are the other minis other folks are using in the game. If they're all shorter sculpts, then the 30mm queen could pass, being relatively taller.

Standing slightly taller than this figure are the older (and very-hard-to-find unfortunately) Confrontation Fianna figures (Sessair barbarians). They stand at about 33-34mm to the eye.

Another (easy) trick you can use is to simply put the figure on a slightly taller base (stand the figure on some rocks, ruins or a small mound etc.)
