I'm still waiting for some guest boxes to arrive (which I pre-ordered, but should have just bit the bullet and added during the Kickstarter campaign -- oh well.)
I'm still in book illustration mode, so the minis painting has taken a back seat. Hopefully, I'll have the illustrations finished and few more minis (Tail Feathers and a few more Zombicide) painted by the end of October. That's when Conan the board game is supposed to arrive! I've been looking forward to that one for a long while.

DeleteI even had the week off and my friends and I played several games of Zombicide BP, Space Hulk and Stormcloud Attack -- all using my painted minis. It was glorious :)

She's a unique model for sure: a decently armored ranged attacker *and* a decently armored female figure. Bow-armed figures often tend to be a bit fragile and/or elves; she's obviously neither. I like the pose contrast with Theo too: he's rampaging, she's cooly eyeballing her next shot.
DeleteZombicide is the most fun that I've had with a board game. My husband and I collect everything from this series of games, and Black Plague didn't disappoint. It's definitely different than the previous seasons, probably just in the mindset of how you play. But it's a fun twist to an already exceptional game.

When my girlfriend and I started playing games together, I mentioned this game and she told me she wasn't much into zombies. But she'll try anything, so she tried Zombicide, and now it's one of her favorites :)
